Our client, a fast-scaling fintech company, is looking for a Business Development Manager with a strong focus on payment partnerships. This role is ideal for someone who understands the payments industry inside out and can take full ownership of payment provider relationships, from research and outreach to negotiation and performance optimisation.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new payment providers to enhance platform performance.
  • Managing and growing relationships with PSPs, acquiring banks, and alternative payment methods.
  • Negotiating pricing, contracts, and terms to optimise payment costs and approval rates.
  • Monitoring and analysing payment performance, solving issues, and ensuring smooth transaction flows.
  • Staying up to date with industry trends, regulations, and competitor strategies.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, including compliance, risk, finance, and tech, to ensure seamless payment operations.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in payments, either at a PSP, acquiring bank, or within the payments team of a gambling company.
  • Strong network in the payments industry.
  • Proven experience in business development, partnerships, or account management within payments.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to drive favorable terms.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in monitoring payment KPIs and optimizing conversion rates.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive projects forward.
  • Fluency in English and native Russian are a must; additional languages are a plus.
